Tory Burch possibly launching menswear line

Famous female clothing designer Tory Burch, known for her signature “T” emblem, fabulous flats and bright fun patterns, is toying with the idea of starting a men’s line.
Currently Tory Burch Shoes only offers women’s clothing and accessories, but she said in a talk at the French Institute Alliance Francaise that she wants to expand into menswear. According to WWD, the line would be inspired by her father’s wardrobe during her youth.

During the talk Tory Burch also expressed interest in creating a full scale fashion show during Fashion Week in NYC. She currently only has presentations of her new clothing lines, not fashion shows.
Burch also joined the ladies of “The View” on Friday for their segment “Friday Fashion” and while she didn’t confirm her menswear line on the show, she did show off some of the latest looks from her collections.
The designer launched her clothing line in February 2004.  The label grew from Burch working from her home with a handful of employees to a global company with 45 stores and over 800 employees.
